Notice of review of polling districts and places

Representations and comments are invited from electors within the District or within a parliamentary constituency which is partly in the District, elected members (MEP’s, MP’s district and parish councillors) and local political parties, as well as organisations that have particular expertise in relation to access to premises for people with different forms of disability.

Map of assets owned by public sector bodies has been published

A ‘demo’ map showing 180,000 assets owned by public sector bodies has been published. These include restaurants, pubs, an airport and even Swindon Town’s football stadium. It is hoped that by publishing a national asset map billions of pounds of potential savings will be identified.

The next South Eastern Safer Neighbourhood Team police surgery will be held in the mobile library on Wednesday 13th July between 12pm & 1pm on the Co-op car park on Williamthorpe Road, North Wingfield.

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

To mark 60 years of the Queen’s reign the Diamond Jubilee will take place in 2012. The celebrations will centre around an extended weekend in 2012 on 2, 3, 4 and 5 June 2012.
