Community Safety Partnership - Property Marking Session
Morton Neighbourhood Watch and PCSO’s Gary Green and Kate Hodnett have arranged with the Community Safety Partnership to have a property marking session in the Village Hall for all the Villagers on Saturday 19th March 2016 between 10am and 1pm.
Consultation on withdrawal of funding for subsidised bus services
Derbyshire County Council is currently consulting on proposals to withdraw funding for subsidised local bus services and community transport Dial-a-Bus ‘shopping buses’ from October 2017.

Burglars are operating in our area
There has been an increase in burglaries in the North East Derbyshire area. At the weekend there was a non-dwelling burglary in the bottom of Stonebroom where cycles and good garden tools were taken.
Village Hall - Results of the Open Meeting Ballot
The second open meeting took place in the village hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday 24th November. At the meeting a secret ballot was held to ascertain preferences for the different options.
New stretch added to the Five Pits Trail
